Amazon is dishing out free Xbox Fallout game for a limited time – don’t miss out | Gaming | Entertainment
After a few months of low-profile free game releases, Amazon Prime Gaming is back with a bang in April 2024. There are lots of benefits available with an Amazon Prime subscription, including next-day (and sometimes same-day) delivery on purchases, video streaming, exclusive deals and lots more. Aside from the obvious benefits, Prime customers can also redeem a number of free video games and exclusive in-game items throughout the month. These games and items are yours to keep even after you quit Amazon Prime, so they’re worth taking advantage of. After an extended weekend due to Easter, Amazon has announced the April free games and rewards for Prime Gaming. The headline free game is Fallout 76, which will be available to subscribers from April 11. Better yet, it’s not just the PC version, but also the Xbox edition via a code.
As you wait for Fallout 76 to join Prime Gaming, Amazon customers can also grab a copy of medieval multiplayer slasher Chivalry 2.
Another high-profile freebie, Amazon Prime subscribers can grab Chivalry 2 from the Epic Games Store by visiting the Prime Gaming page and linking Amazon and Epic accounts.
Inspired by “epic medieval movie battles”, the game sees teams of players battle it out in castle sieges and open warfare with swords, shields, arrows and more.
Faraway 2: Jungle Escape and Black Desert are also available from April 4, followed by Drawn: Trail of Shadows and Faraway 3: Arctic Escape on April 11.
Now, while Fallout 76 is the highest-profile game on the list, there’s another title that is arguably the best.
From April 11, Prime Gaming customers will also be able to download the excellent Demon’s Tilt from the Epic Games Store.
A spritual successor to classic pinball games like Alien Crush and Devil’s Crush, Demon’s Tilt is a fantasy pinball game with shoot-em-up and hack and slash elements.
If you do download Demon’s Tilt and like what you see, then a sequel called Xenotilt is in early access on PC, and is definitely worth checking out.
The month continues with more free games, although nothing on the level of Fallout 76, Chivalry 2 and Demon’s Tilt.
From April 18, subscribers can pick up free copies of Rose Riddle: The Fairy Tale Detective Collector’s Edition and Dexter Stardust: Adventures in Outer Space.
This will be followed by Living Legends: Fallen Sky, Vlad Circus: Descend Into Madness and Tiny Robots Recharged on April 25.
In terms of in-game items, members can grab content from Pokemon Go, Call of Duty, Overwatch 2 and EA Sports FC 24.
