Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea will all be in the draw for the fifth round of the FA Cup, which is due to take place on Sunday afternoon. And the Premier League giants will be joined by sixth-tier side Maidstone United, who pulled off one of the biggest ever shocks in FA Cup history on Saturday when they defeated Championship team Ipswich at Portman Road.
Erik ten Hag’s United side will need to overcome Newport at Rodney Parade on Sunday to book their place in the fifth round. Liverpool are set for a home clash with Norwich in the fourth round on Sunday, with Chelsea facing a replay with Aston Villa following a goalless draw between the two sides at Stamford Bridge on Friday night.
Manchester City knocked out Tottenham in north London on Friday, while Newcastle saw off Fulham in the capital on Saturday. Championship leaders Leicester were the only home team to win an FA Cup fourth match on either Friday or Saturday as they battled to a 3-0 victory over Birmingham. And there are already four replays scheduled.
