Prince Harry has ‘extreme mood swings’ just like another royal, expert says | Royal | News

Prince Harry “could be your best friend one minute” and “your worst enemy” the next, just like his late mother Princess Diana, a royal expert has claimed.

The relationship between the Duke of Sussex and William, Prince of Wales, has been strained in recent years due to several significant public disagreements.

A royal commentator has now provided what seems to be an insider perspective on the current dynamics of the brothers’ relationship, drawing comparisons between Harry and his mother, the late Princess Diana.

Robert Jobson, author of Diana: Closely Guarded Secret, wrote in a recent article for the Daily Mail that a courtier had told him: “They both have quite extreme mood swings, just as Diana did. She could be your best friend one minute and the next your worst enemy.”

This insight comes as Prince William‘s wife Princess Kate was admitted last Tuesday for a successful abdominal procedure and is expected to stay in the private London Clinic in Marylebone for 10 to 14 days before returning to her Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor.

The Prince of Wales is to take time off, stepping back from all official duties for several weeks and will look after their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis while caring for his wife.

Royal author and editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine Ingrid Seward told the Mirror that William is “brilliant with the children and always has been”, and highlighted “the moment he confessed he had already changed Prince George’s nappy when he came to fetch his wife and child from St Mary’s hospital back in 2013.”

She added: “William may not always be around but I defy any woman not to agree he is an ideal husband, especially in a situation such as this.”
