Ronnie O’Sullivan vs Wilson table malfunctions as ‘F1 pit stop’ needed | Other | Sport
O’Sullivan quickly got back up to speed after being bested by Wilson before the break, roaring back to tie at 2-2 and was only prevented from clearing up the entire table when a yellow bounced back out of the jaws. Wilson was only able to pot one ball in the two frames between the table being fixed and the interval.
And the defending Scottish and Welsh Open champion’s frustrations continued after the break. He made a run of 18 but left the black ball over the pocket and slammed his cue on the floor several times to create a loud thud.
The Rocket was all too happy to take advantage of Wilson’s error, mopping up with another century break to take the lead at 3-2 for the first time in the semi-final.
