The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman’s style nods to Princess Anne and Madonna explained | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Claudia Winkleman has been stylish as ever while at the helm of BBC One’s hit reality show The Traitors.

The host blends diverse styles within a single ensemble, fusing classy elements, quirky prints, and punk rock touches.

Her signature look on the show can be characterised as countryside chic with a punk core, complemented by her staple long bangs hairstyle and bold eyeliner.

Sinead McKeefry, Winkleman’s stylist, describes Claudia’s style as a “unique blend of Ronnie Corbett, Princess Anne, and Madonna in her Guy Ritchie days.”

In The Traitors, the host dons oversized fluffy sweaters, impeccably tailored blazers, and floor-length coats—perfect additions to any winter wardrobe.

Esme Stone, Head of Marketing at JD Williams, noted: “Claudia’s style resonates with our edgier customers who appreciate dressing in a stylish and classy manner while always adding an unexpected element into their outfits.”

JD Williams suggested essential wardrobe items and provides styling tips, combining them with edgier pieces to achieve the perfect Claudia Winkleman-inspired look.

The brand suggested pairing their Check Print Satin Top With Keyhole, which is currently only £26, with a navy pin stripe coat, and the quintessentially British Hunter Huntress Wide Leg Wellington Boots, £115.

The creative force behind Winkleman’s distinctive looks on The Traitors is stylist Sinead McKeefry, who has thoroughly enjoyed the fashion freedom granted to her in this series.

Reflecting on the challenges of the first series, McKeefry told the BBC: “For series one, I was only given two weeks’ notice to prepare the outfits.

“I was on my way to a wedding when I got the call and I had a complete panic.

“There was a set budget and I had to style 26 outfits for Claudia.”

Luckily, the duo’s previous collaboration and their shared taste in clothing proved advantageous.

Despite the time pressure, their compatibility made the task a good match, resulting in the stylish and varied ensembles showcased by Winkleman on the show.
