Meghan Markle is working on two brand new Netflix series, it has been revealed.
The Duchess of Sussex is working on two projects for the streaming giant – one which will “celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship” and a second one that will be shot at the US Open Polo Championship, Variety magazine reports.
Although their respective titles and release dates are yet to be announced, the projects are said to be in early production.
Meghan will curate the first series, which will see Leah Hariton as showrunner, and Michael Steed as director.
It will be produced by Sony Pictures Television’s Intellectual Property with the duchess, Hariton, Archewell’s Chanel Pysnik, and IPC’s Aaron Saidman and Eli Holzman serving as executive producers, according to the report.
“Known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level.”
The series will feature Miloš Balać as showrunner and Meghan, her husband Prince Harry, Psynik, Ian Samplin and Boardwalk Pictures’ Andrew Fried, Sarina Roma, and Dane Lillegard as executive producers.
Harry and Meghan have previously produced three series for Netflix via Archewell – their docuseries Harry and Meghan, Heart of Invictus and Live to Lead.
