Ryanair, easyJet and Jet2 holidaymakers asked to stop travelling in certain shoes | Travel News | Travel

Flight attendant Cheryl Killough explained what one’s shoe choice could potentially reveal about them during their travel.

In a viral TikTok video, she claimed that airline staff and flight attendants can deduce the personality of a passenger based on their choice of footwear.

She said: “What I’m assuming about you based on the shoes that you’re wearing on the plane coming from a five-year flight attendant” – and most Ryanair, easyJet and Jet2 travellers wear these.

Cheryl cited New Balance trainers as an example, stating: “This guy has probably not flown in eight years, but he is gonna be the sweetest man I’ve ever met in my life.”

Predictions extended to those opting for Crocs, whom she assumed “didn’t shower before the flight,” as reported by Birmingham Live.

The crew member suggested: “And your sweatpants probably have at least one stain on them.”

For those wearing Adidas trainers, she speculated: “We’re most likely flying from a college town and you’re either heading back to uni or off to visit your folks.”

The flight attendant claimed that Ugg boot enthusiasts were also easily identifiable, and she further described them as “nice”.

She suggested that Doc Marten fans often grapple with “overweight baggage fees”, while those sporting heeled booties tend to be “sweetie pies”.

Regarding On Cloud sneakers, she opined: “This person is either the worst Karen I’ve ever encountered and nothing will meet their standards, or they’re the sweetest soul I’ve ever met who loves going to church. There’s no middle ground.”

In a nod to Timberland boot wearers, she quipped: “If there’s an emergency on board, I’m immediately gonna seek out this bloke ’cause he can definitely do heavy lifting.”
